Dramatically perched on top of the cliffs, this beautiful Château is located on the waterfront, only a 5 minute drive from the centre of Cavalaire. It is set in 4 hectares (10 acres) of natural forest, including palm trees and mimosas, with private access to a small sandy beach and two rocky coves (otherwise only accessible from the sea), and offering complete privacy and tranquility, fabulous sea views together with a heated swimming pool, floodlit tennis court and helipad – this is a real jewel of a Mediterranean property and a haven for children and adults alike.
The Château has 10 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms for up to 16 guests and is set in its own gated and fenced grounds. There are plenty of areas in the garden and forest for both children to play and for adults to walk and explore or sit and read, whilst enjoying the fabulous views and listening to the sound of the sea and the local birds. In addition, one can go kayaking or play boules, volleyball and badminton.
In the main part of the house (on the ground and first floors) there are 4 good guest bedrooms all with en-suite bath or shower rooms, as well as a further child’s bedroom sharing one of the bathrooms. In addition, there is a large kitchen with separate washing up area, a library/dining room, a beautiful large living room/ ballroom, a TV/ playroom with its own small kitchen, a games room with snooker table and TV and a lovely music room with wonderful sea views of Port Cros and the Porquerolles Islands, which are only a short boat trip away.
On the second floor in each tower of the Chateau are 2 self-contained wings. In the West Wing, there is a double en-suite bedroom and a double and single room sharing a bathroom, as well as a small kitchen and living area. In the East Wing, there are 2 doubles each with their own bathroom, as well as a small kitchen and living area.
